What's inside

What's in the guides.

No fluff and no 40-minute wrist-curl sessions. You train the whole thing: fingers, thumbs, wrists, forearms, crushing strength, how long you can hold on, and wrist control.

Guide 1

Beginners Guide to Gorilla Hands

For each exercise you get what it's for, the kit, how to do it, my inside tip, sets and reps, and how to progress it week by week.

01

Rising

Wrist strength, hand control and thumb work, with a karate belt and a weight.

Inside tip · clamp your thumb down hard on the belt
02

Pronation

Turning the hand in against resistance, the way arm wrestlers train it.

Inside tip · lead with your thumb
03

Hand gripper

Crushing strength in two positions, standard and upside down, so you train all your fingers and not just the strong ones.

04

IMTUG

Thumb pad, pinch and your weaker fingers, the gaps normal gripper work misses.

05

Finger extensors

The back of the hand. Balances out all the squeezing and keeps your hands healthy.

A full example week: belt work and extensors every day, grippers and IMTUG three times a week How to scale it past beginner, Weeks 1 to 12 Kit list and a tracking template

The rules
  1. Train the movement, not your ego.
  2. Quality beats junk volume.
  3. Tendons adapt slower than muscles.
  4. Pain isn't the target.
  5. Track everything.

Why listen to me

Grip's never been an afterthought for me.

A forearm workout was one of my first ever sessions in the gym. I've trained grip ever since.

In the military, grip became something I relied on.

As a trainer I built it into other people, including actors who had to look the part on screen. I can't name them, but they were in Hollywood films and some of the biggest TV series in the world.

Now 47K of you follow @thegripdaddy and the reels have had over 5 million views. The question I get asked most is "what do you actually do?" This is the answer, written down properly, so you're not trying to piece it together from reels.

The problem

Your hands give up before the rest of you does.

That's not because you're weak. Grip is usually an afterthought in a programme, if it's in there at all. For 30 days, this one puts it first.

Questions

Things people ask me.

I've never trained grip. Is that alright?

Yes. The Beginners Guide is written for you. It starts light and builds week by week.

Is it a book, an app or a video course?

Everything I sell is digital. It lands in your inbox as soon as you've paid, so you can start straight away and work through it in your own time, at your own pace. Read it on your phone in the gym or print it and stick it on the wall.

Do I need any kit?

Some, yes. The guides list everything you'll need, so you'll know exactly what to get before you start.

How long does it take?

About 20 to 30 minutes a day. It's built to sit alongside whatever training you already do.

I've got a hand, wrist or elbow injury.

Get it looked at by a professional first. Sharp pain isn't something to push through, and the guides say the same.

Can I get a refund?

No. We don't offer refunds or guarantees. That's not the gorilla way, and giving you easy ways out won't help you improve, grow and push hard.

If you carry on doing what you're doing, your grip stays where it is. That's honestly the whole pitch. See you on Day 1.
